If I could give more stars I would. We live in Lakeland Fl, and after hurricane Melton tore up our area, and we lost power, the first line of power trucks that we see here in north Lakeland is Denton Electric. We had our power on quickly..We were able to get started with our clean up. It means so much to us for the linemen to travel this far leaving their families to help us..We'll never forget you guys! I paid all of my bills with this utility center on time for the 14 months that I lived in Denton. My last paid bill was August 6th 2018, I moved in August and closed my account. They then charged me again on August 28th after I had 1) already paid that month and 2) already moved. I never got as much as a bill or a call about owing still. They sent it to a credit collector, who also never billed or called me. Over 6 years later it is just now hitting my credit account dropping it over 50 points. I disputed this charge.

I called Denton Electric for the first time and wow am I impressed! When I called, the lady was very nice. She booked me on the schedule, and promised me they would call before they came. Tim gave me a call and let me know how far away he was from my house. When he showed up he was prompt and professional, he changed 2 light switches and installed a ceiling fan. He left everything very clean and the fan looks great! We will definitely be using Denton electric again!

Road crews from Denton municipal came to Lakeland Florida after hurricane Milton. These guys worked hard and had my power up and going early Friday morning and for that I am grateful.

Denton Utilities has sent me to collections. For a bill I DO NOT owe. Said it is from 2018 and just now sent this to collections. What are they talking about? Ruined my credit score after I try so hard to keep it in good standing.
